Nepotism?

There’s a difference between the letter of the law and the spirit of the law.
Nepotism is defined as:
The practice among those with power or influence of favoring relatives, friends, or associates — especially by giving them jobs.
As @Councilman Anthony Cox of Falmouth recently pointed out during a Facebook exchange, nepotism between relatives is prohibited in Kentucky.
But here’s the real question:
What happens when the mayor is directly the boss of her fiancé — someone she lives with?
Technically, it might not break the letter of the law.
But does it honor the spirit of it?
What does that make you think? More importantly – What does that make you feel?
