Misuse of Public Office and Resources:
The use of the Police Department’s official page and public influence to steer public land to a religious organization raises major ethical and legal concerns—favoritism and the improper use of public resources.
Violation of the Establishment Clause (U.S. Constitution, First Amendment)
A public official endorsing a religious institution through a government communication platform is a direct breach of the constitutional mandate that government must remain neutral in religious matters.
Violation of Kentucky Constitution § 5
The state constitution clearly prohibits using public authority to prefer or support any religious denomination.
Violation of KRS 82.083 (Disposition of Public Property)
