 What is the Whisper Liaison Program?

The Whisper Liaison Program recruits bold, local watchdogs to expand our grassroots investigative media network. As a Liaison, you’ll help monitor local government, file public records requests, gather intelligence, and feed it back into the Whisper ecosystem. This is how we spread — node by node, town by town.

What You’ll Do

  • 📅 Attend city council, fiscal court, or board meetings
  • 📄 File open records requests (templates provided)
  • 🧠 Feed tips, findings, and documents to Whisper editors
  • 📷 Capture photos, screenshots, or soundbites of interest
  • 🐾 Optionally manage your town’s Whisper page or co-admin
  • 🧩 Contribute to maps, dashboards, or the Whisper Catalog
