This is the face of fear. After nearly a decade of warnings from Mayor Sebastian Ernst, Falmouth’s electric grid is finally breaking down and the city has no funds left to repair it. Even though Sebastian brought this issues up multiple times during his tenure, he was ignored by the very people in this picture for political reasons.
But now that it’s campaign season, they act as if they’re addressing it. Just do what Sebastian said: Either bite the bullet and get the loans to fix it all, and nearly double the rate, or sell it to a co-op that’s capable of addressing it with the resources they have already.
