There have been allegations against former Pendleton County High School teacher Tony Hoess. The whispers say multiple victims have screenshots of text messages. The allegation is that Tony grooms young men he’s around, and shortly after they graduate, he begins texting them, eventually sending and requesting explicit pictures.
This alleged grooming was first outed on Facebook in three different posts back in September of last year. It received very little attention. Which is why we believe it is our responsibility to make sure everyone knows, and they can decide for themselves.
These allegations involve grooming young men and then soliciting them shortly after they turn 18. We keep saying “alleged” and “allegations” because there have been no criminal charges.
The whispers also say this has happened before and that it’s been caught more than once.
The Pendleton County School Board allegedly overlooked these serious allegations.
We cannot.
